A MODERN family home which has been used as church manse at Dural is set to sell after a makeover by its local parishioners.

The property at 5 St Judes Terrace will be auctioned later this month through Lumby and Hampson Property.

Agent Will Hampson said it was a team effort preparing the property with donations from the local Hargraves Nursery and House 2 Home Property staging.

“It was all hands on deck and it took just a week to get it ready,’’ he said.

The four bedroom double storey home, situated in a cul-de-sac, has a rural outlook. It features formal lounge area, family room and an upstairs recreational room.

It is located a short walk to local shopping centre, transport routes and church.

The property is being sold to fund the recent acquired land adjoining St Jude Anglican Church, which was sold off by Telstra.

The church had used the land for many years as a carpark and recently purchased the site for $651,000.

The property at 5 St Judes Terrace will be auctioned on-site on Saturday December 17 at 4.30pm
